I bought a little Geo Metro back in 1991. 1.0L 3-cylinder engine. (And it was a four-door hatchback!) First long trip I went on I stopped for gas at exactly 400 miles and filled it up with 8 gallons. It died young, though...- profdlp

I have my old non-fog one in a box. (I added the factory fog light kit and installed it myself.) If you suspect it may be the stalk let me know. I am pretty sure you'd want the fog one anyway, but might help for troubleshooting purpose. Ironically, the fog switch on mine now does nothing...- profdlp

Offsets, Backspace, and other wheel info

Broke in my new (used) trailer by picking up a ton of wood pellets. I was leery of overloading it so I stuck about a third of them in the back of the Jeep. Fifty 40# bags, roughly 36 bags in the trailer and the other 14 in the back of the Jeep. Towed/hauled it all a dozen miles home with some...- profdlp

There is a white sticker on the axle, though it looks like half the printing on it has been worn away. I can't find any kind of permanent plate on there which might tell me more. Replaced all the light wiring on my trailer. The man I bought it from was a really nice guy but he was no electrician. (Neither am I, but I worked for one for four years and he would holler at us if we didn't do it "right".)- profdlp

Now I will have to go look, since I am not sure. Someone should have warned me about trailers. It's almost as bad as the Jeep itself - every time I look at it I think of something new I ought to do. I am going to end up with Abraham Lincoln's axe if I am not careful. :rolleyes:- profdlp
