The garage could not get it to "not" start. They were nice enough to waive the 30 minutes labor. They did say it was time for new brakes so I will be moving on to that. I also need a new muffler. (I was aware of both of those going in, so no big shock.)- profdlp

Changed my spark plugs. The old ones did not look that bad and I almost put them back in. Checked the gap and they were at .058 so I did not feel bad about going ahead with the change. BCM Compatibility
Fog light switch is at the end of the stalk with the headlight switch. You pull it out to activate the fog lights. Except for me, now, since my fogs are always on when either the parking lights or headlights are on. (My switch now does nothing.)- profdlp

What did you do to your jeep today?
My Jeep has an object shaped kind of like a WWII bayonet between the two front seats. Some guy tried to tell me that was the parking brake but I've pulled it back hundreds of times and nothing ever happened so I think he was pulling my leg.- profdlp

No, I somehow got through all my gear oil adventures without shedding a drop. I was feeling kind of smug about that, so maybe this is one of those "Pride goeth before a fall" things. Went out yesterday and drove with no problems. When I went to go home the Jeep wouldn't start. Battery is fine, just no crank at all. Had it towed to a mechanic. They are closed until Monday. Got the front diff done and for good measure did the transfer case fluid. The engine oil was done about two weeks ago. Going to do a power steering flush and I think I will be OK. I am taking it to the dealer in a couple weeks for the radiator flush. I think I am running out of fluids to...- profdlp

Went out with fresh eyes today. Tried cleaning the housing threads and the bolts but this did not get me very far. I have a tap & die set coming tomorrow. In the meanwhile, I added a few washers to the two stubborn holdout bolts and was able to snug them up nicely. Frankly, that really is...- profdlp
