    Bought a used hood to replace the dented up one on my KJ. Sanded, sanded, & sanded some more, primered it. Next we squirt some flat black on it and hopefully mount it next weekend, The insurance comp. paid me $684.00 to have it fixed, by the time I'm done it will have cost me $110.00 .

    Clunky front end - 02 Liberty

    I recently replaced the sway bar bushings and end links on my KJ with 110,000 miles on it. It made a world of difference. No more clunking on every little ripple. Its actually a pleasure to drive now. I used Moog on all.

    annoying rear end noise

    That was my first thought. When mine came loose I used some tek screws and screwed it back on near where the original rivets were. A LOT cheaper and easier than pulling the axle to replace the backing plate. That was 2 or 3 years ago, no problems since.

    Not sure when the fog light placement was changed. My 07 the fog lights are turned on by pulling the headlight button out. The same one you twist to turn the headlights on pulls straight out from the stalk to turn the fogs on. Where abouts in central NY are you ?? I'm in Weedsport & Syracuse daily.

    Today was new bushings & end links on the sway bar, Moog off course . Made a huge difference. Damn near quiet now.

    the same thing happened on my liberty. I drilled 4 holes in each and used tek screws to put them back on. No axle or e brake removal. Cost all of a buck. That was 3 years ago. Still holding fine.

    Oil/filter change on the Patriot, while it was on the ramps I hit all the exposed threads with a layer of white lithium grease. Maybe if I do that once a year things will come apart when I want them to. The salt around here reeks havoc on everything. Vacuumed the Liberty and washed the windows too.

    High mileage club

    07 with 106,000 . So far brakes, muffler, both front wheel bearings, shocks on all 4 corners, tires, spark plugs, fluids. All in all it has held up quite well. So much so that I traded my 10 Silverado with 65,000 on it, in on a new Patriot a couple weeks ago.

    I was wondering about the balance weights. I'm reasonably sure I didnt knock any off but figured i would drop it off at the tire store and have them check them all. Just to be sure. If that doesnt help then I'll be about checking the u joints and such.
