I've never seen anyone needing those, and never seen anyone who put these on. Same with disco ends.
Mine sits @23" all the way round. (4" lift)
Have you tried spraying it with silicone lube?

Mine seems like rears could be pushed back a little no? Maybe OP's is like this?
IRO's doesn't look like its curved like the dude said from the picture.

Kk clevis fits. If you get stamped ones, you will need shorter bolt that goes to lca. Plus, you get 3/8" free lift lol.

Just why does this keep happening?
Edit: apparently, I wrote ONE sentence and still manage to write it grammatically wrong. Holy crap.

Clevis lift (spacing out strut from clevis fork, 3/8" max) gives 3/4".
Top strut plate from jba is 1/4" so gives 1/2".
Kk clevis fork is 3/8" longer so thats 3/4" lift.

No thanks on trying this out. I won't do it.
I already have an answer, if I wanted less spring contact, I'd go custom coilovers like jba. (Cuz, narrower spring) It looks like I overthought what was a simple solution. Crazy extent I overthink sometimes.
Plus, I DON'T plan on disappearing from...
For clarification, yes its mounted wrong way. Mount plate goes on top of uca. I've seen a couple posts thats done it to minimize the spring/uca contact.
I've heard of some who's done it over on lostjeeps. I've seen a picture of diy ball joint spacer on facebook, but I already know how you feel...
Anyone still have it flipped and not have a problem yet? I have new balljoints from jba and I thought of that.
Example:
