Thanks everyone.
I’ve never rebuilt a ball joint before so interesting to see what that will be like. Also means I’ve never seen what actually fails on them either. Should be interesting
One replacement is $60. 2 rebuilds are $62
Curious if anyone had any luck or insight on the rebuild process vs dropping in a ready to go one.
I have a clunk coming from mine after almost only 3 years
thanks
(btw I have 2 jeeps running these upper arms and would like to prepare for any...
Actually funny thing is, my buddy installed his recently too, and guess what. He called me up and said he had an exhaust leak cause it’s loud.
I checked for leaks and there is nothing. Maybe the resonator isn’t packed right or yea maybe it’s backwards ?? Has me confused too
Exactly. I have liftetime on all my vehicles - that includes both Jeeps.
Every time I drop off the Jeep they moan and whine about it being “lifted”...
Balance tires ? Not the oem for vehicle ?
Expect them to whine and moan again. They had a hard time with my 265/75/16s but did a Dodge Ram...
Well when you take the rail off you’re going to be messing with all 3 injectors. The o rings are cheap enough to replace and not have to waste time to do this again or worse have a leak go unnoticed and well yea.
The Y pipe is considered a catalytic convertor pipe because it Has the unmonitored cat at the end before the muffler.
I’ve bought 2 replacement y pipes for my 03 and 02 - it was breeze. There’s a company that will make them per order for about $165 shipped.
Because ironically the forums for this specific model Jeep are full people who - guess what - work and modify this specific vehicle. Shocker huh?
Edit. lol I read what I posted and I sound like a dick. But honestly It sounded funnier in my head.
