Binding sound when turning / accelerating
Last November I rebuilt the OEM front shaft using parts from the USA company posted here. The rebuild was easy and no wobbles or shimmy at speed which is what the Chinese ebay shafts I had before did. I been chasing a binding sound when turning and accelerating. Unbelievable. 78k miles on the 2003 and it surges before 4th gear still. I was really hoping it was a simple fix like dropping the pan and replacing something. Poly Rack Bushing for KJ

Speed daddy does sound funny. We used their cheaper headers and down pipes for the 3800s. Of course we did make a jig and ended up re-welding them - it was nice to spend $160 vs 900 for quick budget builds.- Aceofspades

I’ve bought the 2 knock off versions for $150 shipped. Tom and I might be in the same boat here - we both don’t want that ridiculous loud mbrp sound. However. With the 2 knock off purchases I made - the one in my 02 sounds amazing. Hardly notice it unless you drove it next to a stick system...- Aceofspades

I’ve had the same issue and still No response or resolution. They got me good too knowing I can’t keep leaving my Jeep there while I have to have transportation to and from work and care for my young child. Well... only 75k now on it and the battery reset didn’t change a thing. And Tom - What are you saying ? That your Jeeps don’t have that issue or something or am I not reading between the lines ? Curious If it’s something I repair like a solenoid or valve body etc- Aceofspades

Hey guys Wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. The jeep has a about a 200rpm spike before it goes into 4th under throttle. I can replicate this on the fly by simply being on the highway and pressing the OD button on/off. Each time you turn it back on manually , its like something slips...- Aceofspades
