Rear Pinion Bearings
If you are going to the trouble of replacing pinion bearings why would you not replace the carrier bearings? It's not really any more work and the same tool can be used to remove the carrier bearings that you will use to replace the pinion bearings.- derekj

I just put 4.10's in mine and took it for a drive - gps, scan tool data, and speedo were all within 1km/h of each other with 235/85/16 tires.- derekj

Put some speakers in the back doors that I had kicking around - made some adapters out of cutting boards to fill the factory hole so the 6" speakers would fit.- derekj

Rocky road outfitters budget lift
It is normal for it to bind up when installing the top spacer style lift as the suspension isn't designed to have that much down travel. You can add a bit of spacer lift (about 1/2") with a lifted spring and not bind up the cv.- derekj

As long as you don't have a line that is completely open to the environment, applying vacuum to the system should get all the moisture out of it. Then the shop will add a UV dye into the system that will help trace down the leak. If someone has used those a/c recharge kits that you buy at...- derekj

Installed my logging road radio yesterday - tucked it away in the center console - didn't want it just sitting on the console next to the shifter and it wouldn't fit in the little cubby under the heater controls.- derekj

More backcountry exploring yesterday to try and find some old steam donkeys in the bush from way back when. Found both donkeys - still in good shape for being over 100 years old. That's some 100 year old firewood still stacked up next to the donkey. This magneto's magnets still...- derekj
