What did you do to your jeep today?

I have 2 sets of these that were given to me. I haven't looked at them a lot being busy with other things. I think I'll likely cut them to length and bolt them through the pinch weld with the studs they have, then run some extra support to the box section of the Jeep. Keep us posted on your...

    Jeep KJ Howling/Droning Sound

Start with a diff oil change and inspection, the above is probably correct, but you can't be sure without inspection. I think a u joint could be a poias well.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Sorry, I thought it did. Google and YouTube will cover it I'm sure. Search for it by axle (Chrysler 8.25), not jeep Liberty.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I did when I regeared. As long as you're comfortable setting backlash and gear pattern replacing the clutches is the easy part. Download the factory service manual, it details the process.

    Rear differential pinion seal

Mark it well and turn it in just a bit further, this should compensate for bearing wear and crush the sleeve just a bit. Like most metal once the sleeve is no longer under tension it may relax a bit too so the extra bit may not be necessary. Hard to say without actually putting your hands on it...

    02sensor

NTK are the sensors of choice, don't cheap out. And reset computer as mentioned above. Your computer is possibly trying to keep it running with the bad information it has stored from bad sensors. Now with the good sensors or crappy aftermarket ones it is thoroughly confused and doesn't know what...

    New member from Idaho

Nice to have another Idahoan on board, I don't think there are many of us. I'm running the 2927 springs on mine with stock bumper and no winch. You may want to get the one springs that are specific to the diesel. It was actually lifters failing in the earlier 3.7. I think a broken spring is less...
