    However, a new problem reared its ugly head today: transfer case noise while 4 hi is engaged. Kind of an intermittent grinding. It’s the 241 case. I haven’t been able to get eyes on anything yet.

    I ordered that new seat belt buckle about a month ago, now. Since then, the original has started functioning properly again. No more sticky button.

    We got a lot of fresh snow. I plowed the driveway with the ranger, then I romped down the road and back in the Jeep before parking it again.

    MNDot doesn’t like studs on their roads. We get fines for those, here.

    I once bought a new valve cover gasket for my old XJ. I dry aged it in my garage for a year. I figured it would work better that way :D

    Absolutely. A couple companies make them that plug right into the 12v recep. They aren’t as powerful as that unit, but they’re better than nothing.

    My dad always stuffed dryer sheets all over to keep mice out of stuff. It seems to work with my old Mercury.

    I hadn’t driven my jeep in almost two weeks, but I took it to town on Thursday, last week. It stinks from sitting. I tossed an air freshener in it and called it good. I got the dog out to go for a ride afterwards. She stuck her nose up in there and turned around. Hopefully mice will do the same.

    I have those tires on no lift and have no rubbing issues. The speedo is still 5mph fast, too.

    My passenger buckle’s button gets stuck in the down position. My wife does not get, or like, the concept of hitting it until it pops back up.

    Idk if you’re aware, but these KJs are very high performance machines. Very sporty. D&S rotors are a must. I have the same thoughts on space for the water to go.

    I put it in the back garage, this weekend just to get it out of sight. It needs a seat belt buckle for the passenger seat. My wife does not appreciate the quirk of hitting the buckle until the button pops back up before she can actually buckle. As for brakes, if I get another set of brakes on...

    Since I now have a van for work, I won’t be putting my tool boxes in my jeep regularly. So, I can finally put the shelf back in!

    On the topic of rockers and sliders, the rocker on my jeep are gone. Somehow, the plastic cladding is still hanging on. But, I’ve decided that IF I do any repairs, I’ll use either 2x4 or 2x6 tube steel in place of rockers.

    I changed oil tonight. I also brought home a company van today, so hopefully this oil lasts for a while.

    I hate the whole duck trend. Unless I caught a little kid putting it on my jeep, I’d tell them to keep their garbage to themselves.
