I knew a couple who had a piton and sometimes left it in the car on the dashboard...you can bet that no strange neighbor would have got near that car ha ha BTW....they gave it away when they had a baby :D- musicaldoc

I agree with you, if someone wants really YOURS...they'll get it, despite locks or gps... But it's sure that if you don't have a special car and it's full out there of cars like yours then it'll be silly for the thieves to spend time with saws...they'll just shift on the next around. Well, glad non was injured, anyway I agree that stop distance WILL INCFREASE with ABS and that on snowy/icy roads ABS could, in extreme situations, practically let the wheels run without braking at all (almost). Anyway, the possibility to keep control of the steering wheel is of tremendous...- musicaldoc

I agree with you, a stick is better, but I "have" to choose automatic becouse I want Selec-Trac for the full-time 4x4 on wet and slightly snowy roads in winter time...otherwise I'd have gone for the stick.- musicaldoc

Yea Marlon, as you know 90% of Cherokees (Libertys) here in Italy are CRD and the averege known from italian Jeep forums is 19 MPG. Well, I haven't had the possibility to test drive a 3.7, I guess you have both driven both engines. I've seen that the CRD noise decreses almost completely at cruising speeds and at working temperature, so it's just a matter, for the noise, of choosing between "rock'n roll and pop music" :) ...- musicaldoc

Marlon, I wish I had in Italy the same prices you have in USA... here the Grand Cherokee CRD limited is priced apx 50k euros vs the 36k of the Cherokee limited (Liberty). That means apx 20K DOLLARS EXTRA PRICE TAG !!!- musicaldoc
