    Someone broke into my Jeep...

Reeeeeaallly sorry Marlon to read about your story...no words to say what I'd do to such bastards....while I was at the cinema last week, someone opened the trunk of my honda scooter and took away my brand new BMW helmet...I still have my blood boiling

    steering wheel locks

I agree with you, if someone wants really YOURS...they'll get it, despite locks or gps... But it's sure that if you don't have a special car and it's full out there of cars like yours then it'll be silly for the thieves to spend time with saws...they'll just shift on the next around. A...

    steering wheel locks

Is anybody using steering wheel locks like the MasterLock ones? http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/product_detail.pl?dir=/automotive/vehicle/&displaynav=no&parent_id=&sub_cat_id=CA_VS_01&template=app I think that anything that disturbs thieves can be usefull, but I don't feel completely safe...

Stability Control Failure Caused an accident

Well, glad non was injured, anyway I agree that stop distance WILL INCFREASE with ABS and that on snowy/icy roads ABS could, in extreme situations, practically let the wheels run without braking at all (almost). Anyway, the possibility to keep control of the steering wheel is of tremendous...

    Please help my decision

I agree with you, a stick is better, but I "have" to choose automatic becouse I want Selec-Trac for the full-time 4x4 on wet and slightly snowy roads in winter time...otherwise I'd have gone for the stick.

    Please help my decision

Mmm...yea I agree, it's full of BSminded drivers all over the world, thinking they are the best and thinking that everybody will believe their BS. I was a gas and stick "integralist" but I'm starting to believe that you have to get gas engines only if you get a Ferrari or a Viper. If someone...

    Please help my decision

Yea Marlon, as you know 90% of Cherokees (Libertys) here in Italy are CRD and the averege known from italian Jeep forums is 19 MPG. Obviously if you go uphill MPG decreases...I've just read a post regarding a trip up in the italian mountains of 220 Km with 40 Euros of gasoline wich is...

    Please help my decision

Well, I haven't had the possibility to test drive a 3.7, I guess you have both driven both engines. I've seen that the CRD noise decreses almost completely at cruising speeds and at working temperature, so it's just a matter, for the noise, of choosing between "rock'n roll and pop music" :) ...

    Please help my decision

Hi, I'm in trouble with the decision I have to take in the next days. As you all know overseas we do still have the option of CRD engine. Given the obvious difference in MPG - HP - Torque, and knowing that in an year I rarely drive for more than 8000-10000 Km (6000 Miles :) ) thus having...

    How many days ?

Well friends... this is what I suspected, but the reality is anyway astonishing!!! I wish I could have a tour in a factory just to see a Lib popping out every few seconds!(dropmouth) Is the "human" action "heavy" in the line ? I mean, on a 100% basis, which is the percentage on the...

    How many days ?

So You get a new Libby (for example) in a few hours, but it might use parts preassembled somewhere else might be weeks before, did I get it right?

    How many days ?

Well, the same that happened in our discussion:) ! I do believe that every few seconds a complete car is popped out of the line, but looks a little bit hard to believe that, given a precise VIN, starting from the bare steel, going through soldering, painting, assembling, wiring, and testing...

    How many days ?

Hi, on a nonsense night without anything interesting to do, some frends of mine and I have started speaking about car industry and automated assembling factory lines, and we could not come to an agreement on how many days are needed to complete a car. Does anybody know how many days are needed...
