Over tightened Pinion Nut
If I were you that's what I would try first - get a new crush sleeve and install it and hope that does the trick. I used a little 1/4" torque wrench for bicycles to get the proper preload. I've seen pros use an impact wrench on pinion nuts but you have to be super careful and go really slowly...- Shankster

That would be great news if it was all just caused by a loose connection. I guess you'll still need to get rid of that CEL for your emissions test though. If you can't do it with the scanner hopefully you can get rid of it by disconnecting the battery terminals and clamping them together...- Shankster

Cold Start fine but Warmed up it struggles. Vapor lock or CPS?
No check engine light? No codes? I had an 89 Mustang that did exactly what you're describing and it turned out to be a bad fuel pump so you may be on the right track. If it's as gross as you describe it sounds like you'll want to replace it anyway. I don't know if and where a fuel filter might...- Shankster

I guess the sound could be the fuel pump then. Doesn't necessarily mean it's bad though. The fact that it stays on a while after you've shut the engine off might indicate a fuel leak, since it might be struggling to maintain fuel pressure? The vehicle runs OK though, right? And no obvious fuel...- Shankster

That is weird. I wonder if that points to a bad PCM? I recon you should always be able to reset a CEL, at least until you fire up the vehicle again. Or I wonder if turning the key to "on" fires up the LDP briefly (which might make sense since the fuel pump will come on momentarily and...- Shankster

Hmm, dunno. As far as the sound it sure sounds like a pump of sorts and the only pumps back there I can think of would be the fuel pump and the leak detection pump. I just replied to your other post. That's the leak detection valve in the middle photo. Not sure what you mean by vent valve - isn't that the same as purge valve? Which is up in the engine bay to the side of the battery?- Shankster

Not sure what year yours is but things may have changed a bit through the years of the KJ. The purge valve is up in the engine bay to the right of the battery. Another coolant leak
I haven't experienced that specific issue but I'd think you'd have to drain the system, unscrew the adapter, clean up the threads with a wire brush, goop on some pipe thread sealant and screw it back in. I've had good luck doing that with threaded coolant sensors and I just used plumbers' pipe...- Shankster

Rear Wiper Blade Assistance.
I've had the same issue on my 02 for years - held on with a zip tie for now. I may order the Mopar WBRW0011AB but it's kinda spendy for a little wiper blade that might not work. Please report back sleepydragon on whether you found one that fits.- Shankster

Not sure if this will help - I was getting a code (I forget the number) related to the evap system on my 02 and a constantly clicking solenoid (but nothing like the sound I hear from yours) - turned out the hoses around the evap canister under the rear of the vehicle were rotted out and leaking...- Shankster

Hmm, that bushing looks in good shape to me (although as discussed it could be brittle and break any time) and I doubt it's causing your issues. Also, that's a different bushing than on my 02 which has a NV242 transfer case. When you figure out which bushing I'd still replace it, but while you...- Shankster

I doubt you'll find anything. There just isn't enough demand out there for anyone to make the investment. However, I don't think you'll need them if you stick closer to 10" wide. 265-70/16 tires are about 10.5" wide (section, not tread) which will still fit within the factory wheel arches...- Shankster

I don't think that part comes with the regulator. It would be considered part of the glass. If it's removable without breaking it I'd think the only place to get one would be a salvage yard.
