What did you do to your jeep today?
Can anyone recommend a good heat resistant wire loom that I can use in the engine bay? Most of my black plastic looms became brittle ages ago and have fallen apart, leaving wires exposed. I replaced them once before but the stuff from the auto parts store didn’t last.- lfhoward

Following up this morning: The ground side of the connector is continuous with the correct pin on the PCM harness, so we can rule out wiring problems. Starting issues after driving for a while
It is a fuel pressure thing. Mine did this many years ago, and replacing the fuel pump fixed it. The short term fix when the engine isn’t starting is to turn the key to “run” instead of start for 5 seconds to let the pump build up pressure, then start it. Help me understand HVAC
Maybe the mode door actuator was replaced at some point and not calibrated afterwards. Maybe the computer thinks you are going past the defrost setting, or floor/defrost, even though the knob is on something different? The compressor will run when in any defrost mode.- lfhoward

Rear Upper Shock Mount Bushing Fix
