What is this hose in pic with the 2 zip ties

And is it snip posed to be oil soaked

Not the same as my Liberty but it looks like a PCV valve there on the end of it. My guess it's oil soaked because every time you have an oil change they spill oil on it while refilling and don't wipe it off. My apologies if you do your own oil changes.

it's the PCV hose that draws the blowbys back into the throttle body to be burnt off. If you follow the hose, you'll see it feed back into the throttle body on the driver side.

Doesn't look like a proper crankcase ventilation hose so oil seeped through.

I replaced it today with metal hose clamps and 3/4 inch Hester hose till I can get to the dealer

I bought a GM crankcase ventilation hose from NAPA and cut it to size.

NAPA AUTO PARTS

I should have bought the whole new hose and tube assembly for a few dollars more

I think this is for 2002-2006. Not sure what year you have. This appears to be the whole assembly.
