I have had a non mopar coil pack that would act funny when it was cold. It created enough electrical noise that the radio picked it up. Once up to temp, it acted fine. Didn't even generate a misfire code.
Check for voltage first. Start with the fuse 24. Back at the pump the dark green/orange wire is the 12 volt+ wire. It is controlled by a fuel pump relay. My schematic shows the relay in the power distribution center.
Looks like the other piece is there I can see the tip of it and where it meets the cable and where it meets the brake pad. You should just have to remove the top brake spring. The part that fell out and the part still attached to cable fit together like a pair of scissors. They hook onto the...
I'm not sure you have an oil pressure problem. Is it possible the engine cut off first, that will trigger the oil pressure light since the ignition is on and the engine isn't running. When you first open the door do you hear the fuel pump prime. it may be worth checking your fuel pressure.
I've had issues with autozone coilpacks. Originally had a #5 cylinder misfire, swapped it with autozone coilpack. It would do OK until the rainy season came and faulted on number 5 again. Swapped it with another autozone coilpack worked great until i realized it was causing my front speakers to...
Water is a byproduct of combustion. The same gases that get by your rings and into the crankcase also bring with them water vapor. Add to that condensation from the atmosphere when the engine block is cold. This is why short trips lead to more build up but even on a long trip there is water...
If you access to a fuel pressure tester (rent/loan one from autozone). Hook up the tester to the fuel rail port that is above cylinder 4. Turn on the key to run it should pessurize to around 43 psi. Turn off key and see if the pressure holds for a few minutes or does if it bleeds off. That will...
Fuse #26 provides power to the Powertrain Control Module and to the fuel injectors. It sends power to pin 1 of each injector (pink/grey wire color). I would ohm check pin 1 of each injector to ground and look for one that reads low ohm to ground. Possible turn the key to on with them...
Could be the air control vanes. I'll have to look to see if the KJ has vacuum operated vanes or not. It could be stuck in just vent mode and not sending the air across the heater core.
Edit: Vacuum is only used to change the output flow ie. defroster or floor vents. There is an electric...
