It's been fine so far. I also did spot weld it, to be on the safe side. I think these frames vary, from one car to another, that there is no choice but to drill. I tried everything to do it according to instructions and it just was not happening. I've only towed it a few times but as of yet...
Oh they did just rushed communication with them. She called and said, "hey you have a 17" rim." I was really shocked and I'm like put the 17" ones on then. Then after thinking about it I called her back to make sure she wasn't putting on 75 still. She was like nah the guy said go with the...
I want the 245-70-17 correct? Don't really wanna change the rims out, nor am I ready to spend the $$$ on 4.10s. I hope the tire shop isn't going to be jerks about this. I asked for 245 and got 265. I did make the 17" mistake though. Have a printout from the schedule I made online, to prove...
Ok just finally brought my truck in after my frankenlift for new tires and obviously a well needed alignment. I told them I wanted 245/75/16. An hour later the lady called and told me I had a 17" rim, which was news to me. Did not know the limited came in that size. I got in the truck and...
As long as it's done by snow fall, i'm not concerned lol. I ordered a new one online because the dealerships told me back-ordered with no idea when they'll have new ones. I could put the original one back in but the retaining clip broke off and the bolt head is a little beat up. Would be a...
Trying to find a part number for the lower clevis bolt, front driver side, though I think they're both the same. Finally got it out, boy was that a :favorites68:, and think it should be replaced. Tried calling parts but being put on hold at both my dealerships. Any help would be greatly...
Nevermind, that was easy. Must have been tired last night. I removed the mounting nut inside the wheel well and pushed the brake line in and whoola. Very simple.
Did that on the other side, this side I'd think I would have to bend it. I probably could take it off if it was just the nut but it has that lock lever on it. It's a 2005. I'll try to move it again but I didn't see that happening last night.
I can't figure out how to get the bolt out of the front A-Arm on the driver side. Theres a brakeline right in front of the bolt's exit way. It's completely loosened. I just cant pull it out because the brakeline is in the way. Any suggestions?
Sorry I don't consider it good business charging someone for something then a month later telling them it's backordered. I'm sure if I ordered a regular OME lift they could have delivered. Just don't order an adjust-a-strut because you'll be waiting months to receive it. Believe me I am the...
