Well, got it back in 2hi. The problem turned out the control cable had seized. Tcase seems fine and I checked the fluid to be sure and it's ok (as it should be, just changed it 10k miles ago) as for the circumstances, it was shifted in neutral and in mud. buuuutt since it hasn't been out of 2hi...
Update: I tried LibertyTC's "hammer time" method on the lever on the side of the Tcase with all 4 wheels off the ground and ****** in neutral and got the Tcase in neutral. Well, at least we're moving in the right direction.

In February of this year the original factory radiator on my 04 renegade developed a pin sized hole on the front upper driver side. i bought a new one and finished the swap in 2 hours with no problems. since then i have had the same sized hole pop up in the same exact location on 3 more brand...
also, on a side note, the inset of the rim as advertised by the manufacturer is available in 40mm and 45mm if that helps. i'm not sure what the maximum tolerances are for the 04' KJ.
I found a set of 18x8 rims with 255/55 18 rubber I'd like to put on my 04' KJ with stock suspension, will the wider wheels rub? what's the widest rim i can fit on my KJ without any problems?
