    Long term reliability

    I got a 2011 just going on 39K. Just changed oil regularly. Had to replace gas tank / skid plate support. Plan on keeping for a long time. Original owner, bought new from the dealership. Live in MI. It’s a Renegade. We had a sun roof put in it. Old but still very nice.

    2011 oil filter removal help

    My method. Remove battery. Remove horn bolt and just set out of the way. Reach way down in there and loosen and carefully remove the oil filter. I only hand tighten it so it’s easier to get off and put back on. All by feel you cannot see through the mess of components. Never have had a problem...

    Thanks for the replies. I ordered the part with the FCA discount cost $288 for that . $130 Bucks for the dealer to install. Looks to be worth the $130 to install. Thanks again great write up. Sparky ✌️

    Hi all glad to be here. Looking to change my oil and filter to Syn. Looks pretty tight. Any tips and tricks. Looks like it my be easier from the top than underneath?
