Lower ball joint is pressed into the knuckle and fastened to the LCA. It is replaceable. The upper control arm and ball joint normally are replaced as a unit.

Do the Dorman lines have a flexible sleeve/shield located where the lines run under the radiator? Reason I ask is that mine did and after about three years the lines rusted and began to leak underneath the shield as it collected and retained moisture.
Did you get your camber bolts from a dealer? Reason I ask is that I see Moog and Mevotech each have bolts available for a few bucks less. Moog's even have a provision for grease. Anyone tried either of these aftermarket bolts? Mevotech MS250173, Moog K100408 and K100200.
Original plates are riveted and were part of an assembly which included the caliper bracket. Some have drilled access hole through axle flange then drilled rivets out and either tapped or used machine screws and nuts to remount plate.
