trying to figure out what this is! my transfer case is leaking oil out of here and wanted to make sure i knew what i was dealing with before i removed it. thanks!
hey guys, iv noticed on my transfer case it has been sweating oil out of the seam right where the case splits, but now it is leaking. Is there a gasket there? or just gasket maker/silicone?
and do i need to take the Tcase out to pull it apart or can i do it in vehicle?

hi everyone, i have been searching for the deluxe molded splash guards for my 04 liberty renegade, i want the deluxe ones and do not go off roading. For the deluxe ones they say they do not fit the renegade.. i do not see why they would not fit... second, i can not find the set for the front...
all we did was unbolt the starter with the 2 mounting bolts, we left the shield and everything else connected. the exhaust was easy unbolting at the manifolds and at the muffler to drop the entire y pipe to move out of the way. getting at the 02 sensors is possible while the exhaust is still in...
I was not able to find a oem seal installer.
all we did was use a metal scribe (sharp point) to punch a small hole in the seal, be careful of where you make it not to close to the sealing surfaces of the seal. Than screwed a small screw into the hole and using a flat screw driver and small pry...
i would check the draw with the multimeter in between the positive terminal and positive battery cable ( i use vise grips to hold your leads in place but not over tight ). turn in on to amps and make sure everything is off in your car, let it sit untouched for a good 30 min to a hour to make...
