    04 renegade transfer case leaking where the case splits

    hey guys, iv noticed on my transfer case it has been sweating oil out of the seam right where the case splits, but now it is leaking. Is there a gasket there? or just gasket maker/silicone? and do i need to take the Tcase out to pull it apart or can i do it in vehicle? thanks!

    I was not able to find a oem seal installer. all we did was use a metal scribe (sharp point) to punch a small hole in the seal, be careful of where you make it not to close to the sealing surfaces of the seal.
