Here's a quickie for you; the instrument panel sometimes shows "type 43" under the speedometer, next to the 4wd indicator. I can't find any error codes listed that look anything like that. What is it? Tom

Please allow me to jump into this thread. I have the same need: a smoother ride in my Liberty. We never go off-roading; we like the Jeep because it is towable behind our motorhome. Our springs do not seem to be sagging or leaning to the side, so I'm not sure what would indicate bad springs...

Thanks, but there's not one in this car. Have a mirror and a light but no EVIC. The remote batteries are good, the car battery is new. I can lock the car with the remote and come back a few minutes later and get no response from the remote. Or the other way around; it's just totally random...
