Lifting in 2022 --- things have changed

you guys can deal with that guys bs if you want, but he doesn’t appear to know he’s being disrespectful. Finding info on here is not always easy, and this is a forum for people to discuss things. If you don’t want to discuss them, why be a d:ck? No amount of info on a Jeep is worth that. Dude...

Ffs you can’t answer a question without being condescending can you. If you don’t want to answer a question just don’t answer.

Lifting in 2022 --- things have changed

Just for arguments sake, if the upper and lower control arms were both lengthened to retain geometry do any other issues arise? I mean reasonable adjustments if you think your lift moved your tires forward, not lengthening your wheelbase significantly.

Best quality/reliable batteries currently on the market?

Not all agm batteries are deep cycle nor are they immune to corrosion at the terminals. They are superior to conventional or sealed liquid filled lead acid though.

    2.5" spacers

I recently installed a spacer lift in my 2012 4wd KK (just to see if I liked the height off road) cuz it was fast and cheap. I intended to cobble together a lift from ome parts suggested on this forum if I found I liked the height I got from the spacers. I’ve since driven it on the street for...

    Dreaded P0420 help.

Uhm, telling this guy to go back in time and take better care isn’t really helpful. Sometimes you’re broke and need to improvise.

    Dreaded P0420 help.

There is a product called cataclean you can get at most auto parts stores that claims to clean your cat if you’re looking to find band-aids. Can’t speak to its efficacy, but it might be worth a shot.

    Rough Acceleration

Well I hope for your sake it isn’t exhaust, or your cats anyway. I’m on a 3 week waiting list to pay $2000.00 for Cats for my kk.

    Rough Acceleration

My sympathies, I’ve had the misfortune of intermittent problems like this that could have many causes. Generally I’ll give a garage a try or two, and when they fail I start throwing parts at the problem. Either way it usually gets expensive, but on the plus side you end up with a vehicle with a...

    Rough Acceleration

I had similar symptoms after I got my coils wet. I washed my engine bay the way I had for many vehicles before. Apparently the coils aren’t very water tight. Don’t know if that helps. I’ve had similar symptoms with clogged exhaust on a different vehicle. Surprised your not getting a check engine...

    Flex fuel

As I understand it due to the addition of ethanol to almost all pump gas these days the fuel systems of pretty much every vehicle these days can handle e85, it’s just a Matter of delivering the correct amount of fuel for the ratio of ethanol to gas. I could buy an aftermarket ecu, a sensor for...

    Flex fuel

Hello folks. I’ve recently started taking my 2012 kk on trails in SoCal, so of course I’ve been upgrading. From what I’ve learned about the 3.7 overheating is a common problem, and causes many problems with these engines. My experience so far has reinforced this as I have overheated a few times...

    2011 oil filter removal help

Option 1. Use long pliar type filter wrench to loosen, then fish filter forward possibly spilling oil everywhere. option 2. Remove oil channel thingy to provide access from directly below filter. (This is necessary if you install a front hitch receiver. option 3. Install remote filter kit. (I...
