Hey guys, my engine blew on my '06 Liberty CRD. I'm going to swap an engine in from a different Liberty CRD.
I'm looking for tips of things to do while the engine is out of the vehicle that will add to the long-term longevity of the vehicle.
Some things that I will do for sure are an EGR...
Hey guys, my '06 CRD is at the mechanic right now to have the exhaust manifold repaired. I'm also having them do an EGR delete. I have a kit for that.
They won't be able to tune it though. It will be a while before I'll have time to do the tune.
Can I drive the Jeep normally with the EGR...
Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get an exhaust manifold and gasket for a 2006 CRD? I haven't been able to find one anywhere, the dealer says it's discontinued. None of the parts stores have any, I've seen a few used ones on Ebay but don't really want that.

Hey guys,
I put a 3.5" lift from JBA on my KJ a couple of years ago. It's been great but unfortunately JBA isn't doing KJ lift parts anymore.
The invoice from JBA says I have the following lift:
Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit KJ OME
I just noticed that one of my rear springs is broken. I...
I adjusted the angles today with the new Iron Rock UCA. Now my driveline is totally straight. I haven't had it this straight since I put in the lift. That should put less stress on the
U-joints. I had a lot of noise at first because my driveshaft angle was way off. Now it's all good.
I'm...
The kit from Iron Rock cost $542.67 USD. Including the bracket, UCA swivel joints, botls, etc and shipping to Canada.
Not cheap but definitely worth it for me.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it. Much stronger stuff and better articulation. I haven't hit the trails yet. I need to adjust the driveshaft angle, it's nice that this stuff is adjustable. Once I get it tweaked I'll have less stress on the U joints.
Hey guys, here's an update on the KJ rear end upgrade.
I got the UCA from Iron Rock. Nice quality stuff! I got the LCAs from Ocre 4x4, although Iron Rock makes them too but I didn't know that before I ordered them. You can probably get it all form the same place. The Core 4x4 ones are...
Hey guys, I did get in contact with wwdiesel. He was very helpful.
I found out that Iron Rock is actually manufacturing their own bracket for the KJ. I talked to them today and placed an order for the whole assembly (Rear UCA, Flex joints, and KJ bracket).
They said the KJ bracket is a new...
Hi wwdiesel, good stuff. I'd like to order one of your mounts. I don't know how to do PMs on here either.
Send me an email at [email protected] please and we can figure out the details.
Yeah I know, I mean they can get the bolt pattern off of that plate. I'll try to get ahold of wwdeisel though. I've seen posts showing off his stuff. It seems like he already has them powdercoated and everything...
Thanks a ton, tommudd, I'll order up a set right away. I appreciate you passing on the information that you have painstakingly gathered. The KJ seems to be the black sheep of the Jeep family when it comes to aftermarket modifications.
It's a shame that Marlin at JBA has stopped carrying KJ...
Thanks tommudd, you have been very helpful with this information which is difficult to find.
I understand that nothing is advertised for the KJ rear UCA and rear LCA. It sounds like the WK rear UCA will fit with the correct bracket. I didn't realize the WK and KJ had the same mount points...
I'm just looking on the Iron Rock site, they don't seem to have a rear control arm for the KJ. Does the WK fit?
