160k and no overheat till the other morning. Then it was kinda spectacular. Shows the classic signs of a gasket gone bad.
I am not looking fwd to tearing it down. Already budgeting to put fresh heads on it as well.
Looks like a head gasket has bought it. At the very least, I have an issue with combustion pressure making it into the cooling system. Also lots of water out the tail pipe.

All is well in my Libby world again. It seems the torque converter was the issue. Can tell the trans is fresh.
So today I changed the bad O2 sensor and did the plugs. Then drove it!
I will still say they are linked, jmo though. Maybe cause I drive around every so often and monitor the sensor outputs in real time, under load
As a some what quick check of the coils. Clear the CEL, swap The #3 and #4 coils and the #5 and #6 coils. See if the code follows from 3&5 to 4&6. If...

One has a bad pressure switch in the power steering pump(idle bump up). Known for the past two years. Cant find the $27 to fix it. She ******* about how poor her car runs. If she would buy the switch, I would put it in. Cant do that...
The first two and last two are related. Both of the downstream O2 sensors are bad.
Downstream is the after the Cat (sensor 2).
P0137 is Bank 1 (left Cat) second sensor.
P0172 caused by the above fault
P0157 is Bank 2 (right Cat) second sensor.
P0175 caused by the above fault
