    Hairline Radiator Leaks

Interesting... Mine was the original production Mopar radiator. However, it was 15yrs old at the time @86k miles (and likely never serviced before). I have read elsewhere on more than a couple of occasions (...if I recall correctly... and the reports were accurate), that the production...

    Hairline Radiator Leaks

Q: Was the petcock/plug still in place (leaking) when you discovered the problem or was the plug completely missing? Any prior service using the petcock/plug leading up to this? Q: What transmission is in your Jeep? My reason for asking is that, if I recall correctly (or incorrectly), The...

    '06 Liberty with oil issue

I am having similar issue at 88k. Replaced PCV. Replaced a couple dry rotted hoses in that area. Just changed oil and went with High Mileage 5-30. No evidence of oil leaking anywhere. No noticeable blue smoke. Using about 1qt per 1000 miles.

42RLE and 45RFE Transmission Filter and Gasket Info

Recently dropped my trans pan for service @ 87k on my '02 with a 45RFE transmission. It appeared to have been the first time the pan has been removed. The pan was in good shape overall and has the ridges between the holes. It was sealed with black sealant only, no gasket. The sump and spin-on...

    Frt Differential Drain, '02 Liberty

I don't know much about anything so here goes. Went to drain my front differential the other day but could not find the drain plug. The fill plug in plain view. Do I need to remove the skid plate to get access to the plug? Thanks
