    Horn won't shut off

Just an update. Horn has been normal since cleaning up the little wingnut and post on the positive side of the battery. Darn touchy Chrysler electronics lol. Always check the easy stuff first.

    Horn won't shut off

Was chatting with my wife, and she was saying when disconnecting the battery after the second honking, wiggling the positive cable would stop it and start it back up. She was disconnecting it by the wing nut that attaches the cable to the positive side clamp and just pushing on it triggered the...

    Horn won't shut off

Thanks for the tip(M)! Right now I'm trying to replicate the issue. Got off work a bit too late to dig in very far. Everything is bone dry inside the cab, and inside the TIPM as far as i can see, if rather dusty around the outside and in the cab. Going to let it sit for a few. I have the hood...

    Horn won't shut off

Battery will be disconected for sure for a while. I don't trust airbags, even unplugged!

    Horn won't shut off

I found that same page last night. Hopefully not a TIPM problem... I would expect other symptoms, but the only other issues we have are a multifunction switch that started to act up a couple months back. The horn button does feel a bit mushy, so hopefully it's just a busted or stuck spring...

    Horn won't shut off

Wife went to unlock the truck, and the horn blared for a minute straight. Thought it was weird, but it stopped. An hour later, it just went off and wouldn't stop. Disconected the battery for an hour, and as soon as it's plugged back in, horn goes off again. Just a long, continuous honk. No...

    KK cat-back exhaust options

I'm late to the party. I enjoy my Gibson. Not too loud. Mine melted my bumper a bit so I cut out the melted spot and extended the tip out. Has a nice tone on the V6, not really droney either. YouTube vid of it right after install

3 pending trouble codes two weeks after dead battery

Got the new battery in around noon. Also did the plugs while I was at it. Even though the dealer said they were just replaced when we bought it at 103k, the plugs looked probably 60k old. Couple were gapped .060+! No way there was only 14k on them. Other than them being a hair rusty, and over...

3 pending trouble codes two weeks after dead battery

Let the jeep sit over night after a propper run yesterday. Battery down to 12.3v-12.2v. Wouldn't stabilize. The 12.4 I had was 30 minutes after a short trip. Definitely leaning towards voltage issues. Grabbing a new battery now, and left the jeep sitting with the cables tied together.

Also, your sticky with the manual links is much appreciated. Read through a few. Didn't know I could do key programing and unlock chirps without dealer tools!

3 pending trouble codes two weeks after dead battery

I am mostly leaning towards the battery/hiccup as well, because when I had slowly dying battery in a Mazda 6, I had a permanent pending code for low intake runner control voltage (the flaps that change the variable intake length.) New battery fixed that one. Honestly, right now is the best it's...

3 pending trouble codes two weeks after dead battery

2011 kk with about 117k miles. First off, two weeks ago wife left the key on, engine off with the lights on till the battery died. Got the battery charged up, and been driving fine. Jeeps been running great. But we do code scans occasionally on our cars to see if anything may be pending...

Towed for the first time with the KK and gave it a good test

Pretty sure it's in the pump.

Towed for the first time with the KK and gave it a good test

I never tried. But the new pump solved the issue for me.

Towed for the first time with the KK and gave it a good test

Dunno what they OEM'd but I dropped a Delphi pump in mine on Saturday. Don't know if it solved the occasional starting issue, but there is a noticeable difference in available power at freeway speeds. I enlisted my dad to help drop the tank, and on the way to his house I bogged down while...
