Do you have any check engine lights or the ABS light on on your dash? If the ABS light is on it disables the cruise control.

With a synthetic blend you should change it every 5000 miles. If you upgrade to full synthetic there are some out there that only need to be changed every 10,000 and Mobil 1 actually has a 20k mile oil as well. Changing your oil is the single most important thing you can do for any vehicle.

2003 Liberty Limited 4wd. Nothing fancy done to it just stock but in great shape for the year. Been working on cars all my life and work for an auto parts store and had never heard of the rear ABS sensor also controlling the speedometer.
