How to Delete Bank Account from Quickbooks Online:- QuickBooks Online designates an account (or a product or service item) as inactive and hides it from visibility when you delete it. Transactions will still be viewable, so you'll have to manually delete them. The accounts are still there, but they aren't visible to you. Inactive products and services work similarly: they are just concealed from view and can be restored if necessary.
One thing to keep in mind: if you remove an account, then create another with the same name and restore the dormant account, QuickBooks Online will add a -1 to one of the accounts because no two accounts can have the same name.
