Anyone with a cracked engine block?
Not really helpful here in the states. I don't think I could get an engine from the UK cheaper. We bought a new vehicle. Not sure if I want to take the risk of replacing what I now feel is an inferior engine. Just wanted to know how many other people had this problem.- JPCRD

Anyone with a cracked engine block?
Our 05 CRD engine cracked a week ago Saturday with 131,000 miles on it. Just had an EGR valve replaced and a turbo hose replaced, but I don't think the 2 are related. Dealer estimated $7300 to replace with a rebuilt (5000 parts + labor).- JPCRD
