    Jeep Liberty Overheat issue

When you say driving, are you talking about around town or down the highway? If it is around town it could be the fan. They are two speeds and only my low speed was working, I replaced mine and the plug-in in the new fan burned out in a week and had to straight wire it It could be your relay to...

Help! My 03 Jeep Liberty’s battery died and Sepentine belt came off.

I just read your reply after I put my 2 cents worth in. That bleed screw can be hard to get off for the first time. they used some super duty lock tight. I had better luck taking mine off after the engine was warmed up. I almost stripped mine out when the engine was cold and I tried to take it...

Help! My 03 Jeep Liberty’s battery died and Sepentine belt came off.

I would suspect an idler pulley or water pump going out. If it was the ac compressor locking up you should of heard the belt squealing. I have had my idler/tensioner pulleys go out at different times on my 2005 Libby and never heard a thing. 1 time I saved the belt the other time it ate it up'...

I would go to a junkyard. If they do not, they call on their hotline and find you one.

    Possessed 08 Kk

I got the wrong alternator from discount auto and my jeep did some crazy stuff even when it was turned off. people would tell me my jeep horn was going off with no one in it among other things. I would check if it is overcharging.

    CHASING THOSE CODES.

thanks I forgot to say that I did change that valve too and broke the hose while doing it. I think they call it the *** valve. One of these days I will get lucky and put this light to rest. Someone said get some carb cleaner and spray around the hoses and if the engine picks up speed to replace...

    CHASING THOSE CODES.

I have been resetting my 2005 about once a week for the last year with the same problem. Sometimes the light will come on the next day and sometimes it takes a week. Sometimes the code says it is evap problem and other times it says it is the thermostat. Replaced the thermostat and water...

    Dreaded Engine Light (Lucas)

I know you said you said you cleared the codes and unhooked the battery. Did you clear the codes by unhooking the battery and connecting the battery cables together? Sometimes in my 2005, I had to leave the battery cables connected overnight for that to work for certain problems.

    Engine swap

I am pretty sure 2002 to 2004 are a direct swap. then 2005 to 2012. You can check treads in here to find out for sure

    bypass cutoff after airbag deployment.

My brother had a 2012 libby that rolled over and deployed the airbags. We just unhooked the battery and tied the 2 battery cables together overnight so the putter could reset. We put some water back in the radiator and it started up just fine the next morning like nothing ever happened.

    Need new window regulators

I have had bad luck with the ones that look like the original ones for a 2005 libby. The plastic on the original ones likes to crack and break. I got the cheaper ones from Ebay that have two cables about a year ago. They work twice as fast and I have not had any problems so far.
