    MPG change with lift

Thanks for the confirmation. Any thoughts from anyone on the OME lift parts? OME (ARB) has been good in the past when I have used it for the 1st gen Cherokees that I have owned.

    MPG change with lift

I guess I should stick to this old thread I started some time back. My KJ is sort of a cream puff. It is an O4 with only 130K miles, in real good shape and I like it a lot (except the speedo quit working and I haven't figured that out yet). I was working parttime and commuting about 32 miles a...

Anybody have a part number for the rear wheel speed sensor for a 2004? Much appreciated.

Thank you for your thoughtful and helpful reply. I have located the sensor on my KJ.

Is that sensor somewhere on the outside of the diff?

My 2004 Jeep liberty no turn signals

Well, that's sure a possibility. I'll check it out. Simple things first. Right? My mechanic apparently put it on his analyzer and it came back that the module wasn't comunicating all the the way through to the speedo and such. But that still could be the sensor in the diff. (according to my weak...

My 2004 Jeep liberty no turn signals

The problem with the turn signals turned out to be a shorted out wire running along the frame. The speedo doesn't work because there is a problem with the ABS modual and that part is no longer offered by Chrysler and it gets more complicated because those ABS moduals are programmed in different...

    Hey!

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking KJ. May take awhile to get all the kinks worked out but should serve you well.

My 2004 Jeep liberty no turn signals

Good morning. Thanks for this forum. I have been a member of the forum for several years and I have gleaned much from the forum, but I have not posted much up to this point. I have several problems somewhat related to the one expressed already but mine continues to grow. Mine started off by...

    MPG change with lift

One bid I got from a local shop that specializes in suspensions and gearing gave me a price of $2660 out the door, parts and labor. How does that compare to some of your experiences? It is too technical to get it right for me to try it myself. Not every regular shop will even do diff gearing. I...

    MPG change with lift

My main interest in the lift is tire clearance. The larger (all terrain) tires rub in any kind of flex situation. I think I'll start with the 4:10 gearing and go from there.

Thanks for the good info. I already have oversized tires (245R75) and I get right at 20 mpg.

    MPG change with lift

Since my 04 KJ is a daily commuter vehicle, I'm wondering if the OME 2.5" lift alters the MPG stats an appreciable amount? Thx.
