If you ever tow the KJ with all tires down on the road you use that key to unlock the steering. That way no body can drive off with your KJ. Terry

Interesting thread. They seem to be typical of some other Jeepers I know of. They have a very tired engine that needs replaced. It isn't the KJ, it's that particular engine. Could happen to any type of Jeep. Terry

If I had the $$$$ I would do! It would be very unique. That is one of the nice points to a KJ on the trail, 99% of the Jeeps are Wranglers. Pretty much look the same too. Terry

With the amount of torque my guess is you would have to do the same as you would if you added the V-8. Terry

You might be able to get some answers by calling a ****** shop and telling them what is going on. If they are decent at all they will give you some suggestions. If not, they will just say to bring it in. Terry
