    Buyers Remorse Open Country - 245 75 r16

6 Months and 4000 miles update. The tires look and fit OK. However the mild tread is really a lackluster. Totally failed me in light snow over gravel, mud and anything wet. HOWEVER, it performs really good on wet pavement and new snow (been driving exclusively only MT tires for the last couple...

    Buyers Remorse Open Country - 245 75 r16

I meant OME - the jeep I bought for spares had an OME kit fitted which I installed on my KJ. That's why I can't figure out exactly which springs are those.

    Buyers Remorse Open Country - 245 75 r16

Thank you for your replies, could have been a bit around 3/8 to 1/2 - used metric, and had like 10mm on the driver side and a bit less on passenger side. Took me quite some while to get it perfect but it sits perfectly flat on both X and Y axis with a full tank and a 75kg driver. (OCD kicked...

    Buyers Remorse Open Country - 245 75 r16

Hi guys, After lots and lots of reading I ordered my Open Country A/T plus (needed a more mild AT tread) at 245 75 16. Being lifted with an OME 2.5 inch and levelled with a 1/2 inch clevis lift up front. While waiting for my new tires I can't get off my head that those would be WAY too big -...

Rear UCA Clunk (Accel / Brake / Bumps) - Solution Methodology

Hey hvacmrm, Was having the exact same issue. Anyways - did it myself last night. Jacked the car and removed the tri-link , pressed the bushings with a vice and stick welded them in place. Already ordered a new tri-link to redo it ASAP. Can't stand having parts ready to fail under my car.

Rear UCA Clunk (Accel / Brake / Bumps) - Solution Methodology

Quick update. The bushing popped off the Tri Link. Got the car back to the shop since it was under their "10 day warranty" to fix it. They kept insisting that the Tri-Link angle was too steep blah blah blah. Anyways - told them to weld it once for good and in the meantime I am going to...

Rear UCA Clunk (Accel / Brake / Bumps) - Solution Methodology

Thanks for the reply Tom. I would check those out too just in case they forgot (!) to torque something. Can't really explain how hard it is to find a specialized shop in Greece right now - that's why most of the times I am working on my own fixing random things clueless mechanics have done to...

Rear UCA Clunk (Accel / Brake / Bumps) - Solution Methodology

Hi Guys - been lurking on this forum for quite a while -got a KJ 3.7 renegade with almost 200.000 KM (124.000 miles) which has been through some serious abuse during it's lifetime. Long story short - My car has been long overdue for a rear bushings overhaul so I decided to replace everything...
