Rear suspension or axle clunk when getting on or off the gas.

Jack it up by the axle so it's closer to ride height during inspection. The bushings mentioned would be a good place to start, next the ball joint on top of the diff, check for play front to back. Also loose shock hardware or bad bushings there. Lower arms, and I joints at the drive shaft. Any...

    Rear Upper Control Arm (Boomerang)

It's pretty minimal, there's not much those rubber bushings can soak up. They're designed to be running at a lifted height. The bushing mounts are at an angle for lift. I'd imagine it would would as they're designed to move through that point in the suspension travel. You might be putting extra...

    Rear Upper Control Arm (Boomerang)

I'm running the flex joints you definitely hear and feel more vibrations and road noises, but it's not much and you know what it is so it's not concerning. They're tight so don't expect to pump grease in after assembly. Put lots of grease on the joints during assembly.

    Rear Upper Control Arm (Boomerang)

I have replaced the ball joint and bushings in the stock before and it performed well and has lasted until I put the IRO on. I can tell you the IRO is substantially better and well worth the investment if you plan to keep your jeep.

    4.10 Re-gearing - 2025

When you're doing it outside in an Idaho winter you don't take as many pictures as you should, but I do have a thread of my build on here somewhere.

    4.10 Re-gearing - 2025

When I did my calling around every place I spoke with wanted the rear axle to remain in the Jeep during rebuild. And that is how I did mine. There's no way I could have achieved the necessary torque on a bench. The front wasn't as bad, but I had to get on the bench too and sit on diff while I...

I'm near Ontario Oregon, if you end up going after yourself I have the bearing puller needed for the carrier and pinion bearings as well as some of the other required tools for the job. PM me if you want.

    4.10 Re-gearing - 2025

It's not too bad to do yourself if you have time and patience. You might have to pay a shop to remove old and press on new bearings on the pinion and carrier as they are some special tools. And get a big breaker bar for the rear pinion. I picked up a 4 foot one. The required torque is somewhere...
