Any wheeling would be light....maybe one medium trail once I get comfortable....but as stated I'll be a very long way from home and don't want any issues.
I measured center of wheel to bottom of arch. 21-3/8 in the front and 21-5/8 in the rear. I ordered the medium ome lift from jba I think it was the 926/947 with rancho rs adjustable shocks and jba control arms. I'm running 30x9.5x15 falken wildpeak tires. But anyway. Was heading to Indiana to...
I'm sure this will be an easy answer for someone out there. I lifted my 06 kj with the ome medium kit. I believe total lift in rear was a hair over 2.5 inches. Do I need to extend/make drop bracket for the rear brake line or is that not enough lift to need the extra length? I've seen some say...
Thank you for that info. I know what little piece you speak of...ive replaced my ignition actuator pin last summer. Like i mentioned the shift handle set screw trick seems to be working for me so far....now that i know i wont harm anything if it gives me more issues ill just disconnect it at the...
And that wont harm anything? Vehicle will just start in gear? Good to know. I tried the trick with the set screw on the shifter handle....and so far that seems like it fixed my problem oddly enough. Ignition gave my key back everytime since i tried it this morning.
Random question....what would happen if i disconnected the btsi cable at the shifter? Would this harm anything? Just temporary til i get a new btsi cable

Is it even worth the time trying to adjust the cable ? Or should i just assume its shot and order a new cable? Was hoping i could adjust it or just unhook it til i can replace it...but i didnt wanna cause more issues by unhooking it.
So...having the dreading btsi cable issue. Key will not come out of ignition. Found a trick on this forum. Pop off trim cover and manually push cable forward to get the key out. I have two questions....what is the best way to lube and adjust the cable before i replace it? I have seen a few...
Hello all. I have an 06 kj sport. It currently has the chrome door molding on it. Im not a bling kinda person and id like to replace them. I really wanna replace them with moldings from an Australian kj so the molding will say cherokee instead of liberty. Does anyone know where i could find...
Hello all. This is my first post on this site since buying my used 06 kj. Hopefully my lift from jba will show up shortly because i need tires. My kj is my daily driver....but i plan on visiting offroad parks hopefully once a month or so. Im looking at either a 235/75/16 or a 245/70/16 tire...
