That's how brakes are on any car man, and it sounds like you have a good pair of them lol. It does shake and make noise if you take your foot off a little bit, because, well, you're braking but just a little bit of off and on pressure.
I took my virgin KJ down some trails behind my house to go exploring. It was after a ride home from the beach and it was already dirty so, why not? I was going to continue on but I would have needed some skids or a lift because the were some some steep 'whoops'.
