hmm - something does not add up here. You worked on the PS and then the security lite comes on afterward - did you all remove / drop the steering column? If yes, did the steering wheel stay in position? - curious about the status of the clock spring. If no - there is not a real good reason...- DadOSix

2007 AC needs replaced
Here is a fun fact - my 04 was eating refrigerant every few days to a week. Lib was in Baltimore for an extended time and when I went to pick her up from #2 son, of course, no a/c. Got a can of stuff and cooled it down for 150 miles. Leak detector said it was the compressor ( sniffer unit)...- DadOSix

Ok - i see that. So - what are your high and low side pressures? Jeep off - Manifold set blue to low port and red to high. These numbers should be equal with the engine off. And should also be near the outside ambient temp. If you have lower pressures than outside temp, you are low on...- DadOSix

Changed starter in 06 KJ and it still wont start
Agree with 3bar - ground ground ground. But we gotta know —- where is this splice located? Because if it worked before and you had to re-work that splice, something did not get re-connected or still has a bad section of cable relative to the splice.- DadOSix

A/C Stays on in Heater Mode
It is a feature - the compressor runs to keep the moisture in the cabin air lower. Defrost mode runs it so you do not get ice on the windshield inside.- DadOSix

How To: Change front driveshaft / change a driveshaft head
Nice job! I have done a few - maybe 3x, but don’t recall the shift bracket info. Maybe I could have finished sooner. Usually pull the KJ up a bit of a bank and get myself down in the swale - plenty o’ room there. -
2 engine computers
02 - 04 are the same - jtec computer. Accourding to my google-fu, there was a change in 2003.5 that dealt with the TCM. That may be the difference you see. LIBERTY -03 stuck in maximum heat
I’m going for blend door as well. It is a booger to get at, as the whole dash needs loosened up and mostly pulled from the truck. If you need a quick fix, remove the hoses under the hood from the heater core and splice together with a hunk of copper (similar) pipe / tubing for the warm season...
