Burnt Exhaust Valve,s
I have a 2005 Liberty with a 2.4L . running ruff at ideal,#1 cylinder misfire. had it checked out and found all 8 Exhaust Valves ware Burnt??? anyone know why??? charliecuda- charliecuda

#1 missfire tick-tick noise.
engine light came on #1 missfire .changed plugs, plug wires, and coil. makeing a tick-tick noise.changed the lifters thinking that was the tick-tick noise. still idles ruff.still making tock-tick noise engine light stays on.has anyone had the same problem with 2005 2.4L powerteck motor...- charliecuda

02 Liberty trouble HELP
2005 jeep liberty 2.4L #1 cylinder missfire, new plug, new plug wire,new coil,new c.e.m., new fuleinjectors and new vave lifters. no change still runs ruff at idel.:favorites68: any one know what to do next. charlie- charliecuda
