I'm done listening to someone, after search for another topic, in 2017 and 2018 they recommended the G80 for the front. They can't make up their mind. And given that I've now seen videos of it being done successfully on the youtube, it's clear that someone isn't the expert they think they are...

Today-ish, over the weekend I fabricated mounts and mounted the new front bumper, then fabricated side gap covers and installed new LED blinks in them.

(Not to brag) Mine was 11" , however, I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the new one on. The connector insert does not positively grab the arm/j hook. The two bits that came off the old one - I've spent about 3 hours attempting to fit them together and there is no possible...

Well I was building the new front bumper. Front bumper off, grill is off, turn signals off... all I needed to do was get it into mock up to mark where I'm welding the mounts - - - and it snows. sigh.

Tom, I saw in two other posts you recommended the 4.10 ring and pinion from Crown specifically for a Dana 30 and the locker for a Dana 30 to people that had the OEM D30A, so I'm wondering now why you insist there is such a significant difference? If you suggested using the pinion for a 30, why...

Why would you laugh at people doing research and learning? You don't have to be a rude. It isn't like I've read every post on the forum, so excuse me for trying to figure something out. I also saw someone definitively say the KJ didn't have a removable front diff cover, and I know that isn't...

Granted, and I've not taken mine apart (yet), but from everything I read, the only difference is the longer pinion (and the aluminum housing). And in my experience at least, doesn't necessarily mean the gears won't work. Now I've got some more research to do. Thanks for the input.

So the question would be, would it fit and work in our KJs? They're technically Dana 30, right?
