I've also encountered this problem a few times in my 05 Liberty. It does seem to go away after a restart. Kinda a hassle.

From what I read, it sounds like I need to get the multiplexer and the cable to see the info on the oem radio.

Confusing indeed. Do you have the part #'s to these items. I'm content with the OEM radio but would like to have the song information. I guess I need to find the easiest solution.
