Timing chain......you figure it would try to punch through the block. I thought it was the oil pan gasket at first but when I looked closer at it I could see the crack right above the bolt in the pic.

Ok I just crawled under the KJ and looked to see if the block has a hole or crack underneath it. I see no nothing at all. But I do see the where the oil shot out on the manifold.
No rattling at all no check engine light either. my first thought was the gear box because the oil came from the back of the engine block. I will make sure before I drop the cash on a rebuilt.
