My interferes with my headunit when I have my phone connected (with a cable). When ever I make a transmission it stops my music and does other weird stuff. Any ideas?

I see. Sometimes it will do that. Mine bleeds into my speakers, but im running something a little bit more powerful than most run in their Jeeps.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it, its just RF interference becuase the AM signal is more powerful than your FM signal so its blanketing it. Kinda hard to explain

Even when connecting my phone with a cable it does it. Anything I can try to prevent it? It's just really annoying lol.

Are you sharing a power line between the head unit & the CB radio?
I believe you can get power line filters for your radio.

Go to your local Radio Shack (if it still exists) and tell them you need a noise suppressor for your CB....simple, inexpensive part...

Yes. Thats power interference. Best bet is to hook directly to the battery or get a filter for the cb
