Believe me, I was impressed too. I've forded deep water before and had muddy wakes half way up the hood, but I figured I'd be screwed when I got caught and stood still. I was waiting for mud to come creeping through somewhere and soak the carpeting, but it never happened.

yeah, that's all from two 250+ lb guys walkin through soupy mud, nothin seeped in...it wasn't that deep anyway.

and no, it's not trashed, I already cleaned it up (that all happened last Friday)

Nothing ever seeped into my worn-out Isuzu, so you shouldn't worry about a late model vehicle's weatherstripping letting any mud through.

Went muddin' a few weeks ago. I got so much mud stuck to my chassis and wheels that I had to take my wheels off and put her on jackstands in order to clean her up:

Got stuck so bad this weekend that I had to climb out of the back window. I wish I had some pictures of that :-({|=

muddin

Nope, not photoshopped. Real deal.
Was out with 5 other wranglers that kept hounding me on what my KJ could or couldn't do. It's under warranty and I kinda wanted to test the limits myself.

After that weekend, I was the only one that sustained no damage. Engine was running a little rough, but it turned out that was simply due to mud compacted between the the block and the skid plate. Wasn't allowing the engone vibrations to bleed through the engine mounts. Poked and washed out all the mud, ... all was well again.

I now have a 3 inch lift. Have jumped it a few more times and i don't dig up as much mud up front due to the better clearance, but don't want to push my luck anymore.

Yes I love my KJ.
