I have an 05 libby with just over 100k on it. The previous owner had no issues, services done at a local Jeep dealer, (Im located in Germany) and from what I could tell maintained the libby very well.So here is my issue, while driving off post from my house today I was in a school zone (20kph) with the libby running smooth as silk. As I exited the school zone I put some gas into it (not much I was only headed to 40kph)....
And there it was... that horrible sound of ticking/knocking coming from the engine.:wtf2: It seems to be a single cylinder, and the volume does not increase, just the speed when increasing the RPMS. The tick seems to come from the forward passenger cylinder...Any help here would be hot.... Thanks all!
Oh and the best is that I have to pick my family up from the airport tomorrow... is it safe to drive?
