Hi, I'm new to this forum and to jeep libertys in general. I have a 2007 jeep liberty without any sort of suspension modifications and was wondering how big of tires I could fit under it without a lift or any rubbing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on how much it has sagged over the years hard to say for sure
But 245-70-16s should work with a little rubbing on the sway bar

By the way Welcome

Before I lifted my 2004 I ran 245-70-16's with zero rub, but anything bigger was a problem

Not the mountains.
I would get a little rub at full lock on the pinch weld/front of the fender liner with 245-75-16 but if I was on an incline/decline I'd easily rub the weld or liner. Not an issue now.:happy107: Whoops you said 245-70-16. My bad:icon_redface:

I was in your shoes, and decided on the cheapest lift I could find so I didn't have to buy little weenie tires. Some will say that's the wrong approach, but it worked out good for me. :emotions36:

I also have a stock '07. I recently replaced the tires that came with it, 235-70-16, with 225-75-16. There was slight rubbing with the 235, but none with the 225.

According to the few places that I've checked, it's the 75r16. Even the door label says that. Hmm, better go confirm that...

Confirmed... 225-75-16

The tires that were on my Liberty were Goodyear Wrangler ST. Now the tires are Goodyear Wrangler Territory.

There are 3 different OE tire sizes for a KJ,all the same diameter just different widths or rim size.

Idk if my last post got through. First time on this site! I've got a 2005 KJ, was wondering with a 2.5" lift, and 1.25" spacers, will 285 70r17's fit? I have OEM Wrangler wheels, and the adapters picked out. Any suggestions?
