I have an '04 3.7 sport with the all electric radiator fan. Since I bought it a year ago, the AC performance has be ok but not great and occasionally I would get a transmission over temperature trouble code.
I discovered that the low-speed on the radiator fan was not working. The high speed did work. What clued me in was the amount the AC discharge pressure would fluctuate and how the fan would cycle on and off fairly quickly. The high speed operation kept things from getting too far out of wack.
If you have either one of these conditions, you may want to check the fan to be sure both speeds are working.
I believe the heavy duty cooling that has the belt driven fan has only one speed on the electric fan.
