Greetings all,
Is there any real benefit to spending the ~$40-50 on new coils if I have no CEL's? Will be doing the plugs this weekend anyway. I did a little bit of searching thru spark plug threads & searched for threads about coils, but I didnt see anything from folks who didnt have a...
so, a big thanks to those that tried to help!
Short story.. I am a jack@$$!
Long story... I was checking the wrong damn fuse. How foolish of me to be checking the fuse labeled "cigar lighter" in the manual when I should have been looking at "power outlet (front)". I guess because it was an...
I didnt use the ground wire on socket and probably didn't get a good ground when i checked. I did check the fuse separately with the meter twowings, so I didnt bother to put another in its place.
someone mentioned they replaced their socket and it fixed their issue. I figured eehhh its $20 wth... yeah, now i gotta try to get a refund cause i was a schmuck...
havent metered in the fuse panel yet. Thanks for that piece of info though.. will check this evening.

New brakes! Napa premium rotors and adaptive one pads all around.

The lighter outlet is not working. I disconnected the connector from the socket and put a meter on the terminals in the connector, but didnt get anything. I tried with the key on and off. The rear cargo area outlet works fine. The fuse for the lighter is good. The wires going to my lighter socket...
Rusty Rocker Panels
Hey LibertyFever... I know your post is couple years old, but I'm facing an inspection here in VT and am very concerned about my rockers. Can you tell me how you ended up fixing yours? I havent really dug into mine, but I can tell that I can easily push my finger into the...
So how can you tell if they (inner, outer or both) are bad? I looked under it yesterday and it did not appear they were touched by the shop that put the tires on & told me the inner needed to be replaced. i didnt have the wheels off, but I did not feel any "play" in the wheels at all. Nothing...
thanks for the help eyehatetofu. I'll try to turn it into a "how to" for the next newbie! haha. If you don't mind... Did you buy your parts locally or online? I saw some decent deals on ebay of course, but ya know how that goes. I havent priced them at any local stores yet.
