Can anyone please tell me where the temp sending unit is located on a 2.8crd 05 model? pics would be nice but i know beggers cant be chosers!

The temp sender is usually not the problem. The sender simply tells the PCM that your shit is out of whack.

Betting you have a stuck thermostat. What code are you getting?

Yup, the stock thermostat is probably shot. I just changed mine out after 91k.

Get ready for sticker shock, the thermostat costs about $90 bucks as its encased in an aluminum housing and is not replaceable separately.
