Hey everyone
Been having a strange vibration from the rear end when in snow.
It only happens right around 70'kph. In kinda shutters for a second or two and goes away.
It happens if you are in pt or ft 4wd.
It also happened when I had the front driveshaft out.

In addition you can sometimes hear a click from the back.
Kind of like the click you hear when a Cv joint is going.

Am I right to suspect that the LSD in the rear may be at fault?
Not to sure If it is a binding issue.
The shudder goes away after a second or two.

The fact it happens when the front de is out has me puzzled

Just cause this it what everyone else tells me....have you checked your u-joints? After driving for a while, park the Jeep and touch the u-joint to see if it's hot. Just to give you a baseline...mine weren't even warm.
