Preface- I only want responses about the car not my health, symptoms only occur while in that particular vehicle (I driven other vehicles, no issue) I am fine and well, checked out by a DR, haven't drove it again since.

I understand that this might be a very niche post but I'm trying to see why I'm feeling this. So, this jeep has been sitting for about 2 years, I have no Idea the care taken by previous owners. I got it from my sister, where it sat for a couple years. When I start the vehicle it smells heavily like gasoline.

I looked around on it and it seems to be that there may be a coolant leak from the water pump

I did a smoke test and found multiple exhaust leaks, one at the right bank upstream o2 sensor, before the muffler and a part on the left. I didn't see anything come through to the manifolds but i don't know if that's because there wasn't enough pressure or something because all the holes in it? I plan on replacing the whole thing myself so ill probably cut it off before that first sensor then do the check again at the manifolds.

I also fount a small vacuum leak at the throttle body, its on the side of it, ill try to replace the gasket, if it still leaks then ill replace the whole thing.

After telling you all these things, is there a reason that i would feel dizzy and have increased heartrate (170bpm), could there be something else i could check?

I think you need to see a doctor not a mechanic

LMAO no one can give me a straight answer when I ask about this, already got checked out at the ER, This was months ago, Didn't find anything, symptoms only occur when operating the vehicle. mechanical advice appreciated, thanks.

I did a smoke test and found multiple exhaust leaks,

JFC you already found your problem … google "CO2 poisoning symptoms" !!!

Clearly you have an exhaust leak into the cab interior.
Very likely from a leaking rear window gasket, but also possibly from a rotten floorboard.

Obviously this is VERY dangerous…find and fix the problem before continuing to drive the vehicle!!!

Yes, I did solve my own answer, partially. I said that its likely the exhaust leaks, but didn't think about the gaskets. I thought its also interesting that another member of my family drives it just fine, maybe I'm more sensitive to it idk. I do plan on taking the seats out and looking at the body, it has rust on the rim of the part where the seat rails are and its stayed flooded on the drivers side for a few years so that very well might have holes in the body.

And yeah, I stopped driving it for a few months while I work on it. I clearly noticed something wasn't right. I replace the exhaust system myself in a few weeks just waiting for the parts to come in.

I just came here to see if that's the only thing that can cause it or are there other issues i should look into if the problem were to still persist, thank you for your comment on the seals on the rear window. what else should I inspect regarding sealing?

Exhaust leaking into the cabin usually stinks! Can you smell fumes? If they smell like Exhaust then as Seafish says, investigate the system and car bodywork. If it smells oily then check the engine breather system for leaks and blockages
Also check the big rubber seal on top of the firewall is intact, it keeps engine fumes out of the cabin air inlet (the grids around the wipers) also look and see if any genius has drilled big holes in the firewall for cabels to amplifiers etc.

Carbon monoxide (CO) lowers the amount of oxygen in the blood, and low O2 can cause dizziness. Also, your body will try to compensate by increasing blood flow, hence the higher heart rate. This only works as a stopgap, because if you don’t remove yourself from the environment with the CO, dizziness can become unconsciousness and then death. Please be careful out there. Run with the windows down if you have to run it, before you get it fixed.

I dont run it at all after what happened. I am replacing the exhaust system from the manifolds down in a few weeks.

Of course you are right, though sense of smell IS subjective … he might need to see his doctor for THAT. ;)
As i said, I already went to the Dr. No issues, it smells like gas also so thought about changing the purge solenoid, but the exhaust leak might be causing o2 issues making the engine send out more gas than it needs because on the obd it says running lean as well as the o2 sensor error where the exhaust leak is at. multiple issues at play.
