V Bulletin Being Installed Soon

Hi Everyone,

As some of you know we are going to better software package for the forum. I just wanted to let you know that the change will be occurring Sunday night. This software also should help reduce or eliminate the downtime we occasionally get with CPU over usage as it should be easier on the server. Most importantly with this change everything will be copied over so nothing should be lost.

To get to the new forum simply type http://www.jeepkj.com and this page will redirect to the new forum site.

When you get to the new forum you will need to reset your password and I will provide further details in this post later on of what you need to click.

I am going to try to do the install either later tonight or Sunday night when the board has less traffic. Most likely it will be Sunday night.

I will be keeping this forum open throughout the change for any questions/concerns.

Marlon, be careful. If you are on line when Bennett does the switch, you will be transported to the next dimension and end up on the Enterprise with Capt Kirk...............

Under your User CP, on the left hand column select "paid subscriptions" and you'll see how to donate to the site. I would first check with Bennett to make sure that it is set up properly on here. However, i'm sure he wouln't have a problem excepting a check

Hey all. I've been reading every bodies suggestions and will be working on implementing all of them more tomorrow night. I am spending time with the family right now till tomorrow morning. I am up in northern door county (wisconsin) where I have limited internet access. (cell phone)

Yes we should, and I would like to move this topic down to the Tech Support section, but I am afraid to, as things are still being imported from the old site, and i'm afraid that it might get screwed up somewhere.

Once Bennett gets back from his folks house, i'll talk to him about how he's got things set up, and see what can and can't be done with out screwing up his process.

I'll be spending tomorrow and tomorrow night with the Family having Easter dinner, so it'll be late tomorrow before I can get on.

We have posted a lot of links here to direct people to certain topics, and they will all be dead if that forum is closed.
